Negative Reading Experiences - What to Do

Warnings
Warnings are different altogether. You may get a warning in a reading that is intended to help you. This will usually feel right, even if it is unsettling.
For example; warnings about being careful to prevent an accident or of a person/people who are not being honest or treating you right or of a business venture/decision that may be risky.
Once again, these will, on some level, feel right.
I do know of readers that have “predicted” completely false occurrences that have caused unnecessary stress and upset for their client.
Example 1
Mark decided to have a psychic reading to get some clarity about his career. The reader proceeded to tell him that his happy relationship with his wife would end very soon and he could do nothing about it.
Naturally he was extremely upset and his wife was devastated.
It turns out that this particular “psychic” was “projecting”.
Projecting
Projecting refers to any situation where Person A assumes, usually with no actual evidence, that a situation they have experienced themselves is happening to Person B. This is often an attempt by Person A to normalise something upsetting they have been through and not fully healed from.
In the case of the Psychic in this example, her own son had recently broken up with his wife and now lived separately to her and their 2 children.
The circumstances and events that she “predicted” for Mark were in fact, identical to those which occurred in her son’s case. They had nothing whatsoever to do with Mark’s relationship with his wife.
Years later, Mark and his wife are still going strong and even have a new baby in the family.
Example 2
Another reader told Tracey that her very gentle and loving husband would beat her! Once again, this never came true but it caused her and her husband distress to hear this. It was a very unfair projection to make.
This “psychic” in fact had a history of abusive relationships herself and was again, projecting her past experiences onto her clients’ relationship.
Example 3
Janice was told that she would never find love nor have children. Unfortunately, she believed this for a while and was devastated – all unnecessarily.
As a psychic medium, it is so very important to not project during a reading.
Good Psychics Distinguish between Messages and Opinion
Personally, if I am not completely sure the message is coming from the other side – I just do not say it. And if it is my opinion rather than a psychic message I am about to share, I make that distinction clear!
I have had people come to me for readings needing to clear up messages they received from other psychics that either didn’t feel right or actually caused them to feel distressed and even depressed about their future.
Some of these messages were the psychic’s projections and sometimes they just saw a “false” psychic, who really had no gift at all!
And it’s important to remember that a psychic with ability can project too.
This can actually be worse than a psychic who just isn’t any good, as they will have probably told you things/messages that were correct, but then others didn’t resonate, or just did not come true.
In such a case, you are left worried or doubtful because other things did come true/resonate.
No Psychic Reading is Perfect
Relax and know that most readers make mistakes now and then – you don’t have to fear messages that seem incorrect nor do you have to “throw the baby out with the bath-water” – you can take heart in the good/accurate messages and let go of the incorrect ones/projections. Nobody is perfect!
As I mentioned earlier, the other side would not want you to live in fear – so if you hear something in a reading that does not feel right and causes you distress – chances are very high that it is simply not true.
“The truth has a way of resonating deep within.”
I believe that psychic readings exist to help guide you to make the choices that are for your highest good. I emphasis the word “choices” here as you always have choice!

When you decide to see psychic for a reading, more often than not, you are seeking some guidance in your life.
You put your faith in a person you have never met, trusting that they are genuine and will honestly and compassionately relay the messages that come through for you from the other side.
So what happens if they tell you something that just doesn’t feel right or even frightens you?
Messages in a Reading should Not be frightening
In my experience the other side does not ever desire to frighten someone and also, messages that are truthful have a tendency to “feel right” to you.
